Our Events

Ad Group hosts & organizes some of the best events throughout the school year including educational, social, as well as philanthropic efforts on, and off campus.

With its association to the American Advertising Federation of Miami options to network and learn throughout the Miami community are exponentially increased.

EDUCATIONAL

First and foremost, Ad Group exists to support the advertising, marketing and creative community at UM by providing education outside of the classroom. In addition to practical workshops in our How 2 Ad series, we will also have access to Digital Workshops taught by professionals through our affiliation to the American Advertising Federation of Miami.
 

FUNDRAISING

One of our more ambitious goals this year will be to raise $2,000 and become a Gold Donor to AAFMiami’s Creative Futures Scholarship Fund. Learn more about the scholarship fund here.

INSPIRATIONAL

We all need ad heroes, and luckily, we know a few. In addition to hosting events that will bring out our inner creative child, we will also invite creative speakers on campus who will inspire your inner design and ad nerd.
 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

It’s all about who you know, and what your portfolio looks like. We will guide you throughout the year to get you the best internships and jobs - one project at a time. We know people who know people.
